UPDATED 3/12/13:

From UW-Oshkosh faculty and meeting host Tim Gleason: “Visitors should park in the lot adjacent to Sage Hall, which is on the south side of the building. There is a set of glass doors clearly visible from this lot, and by 10:45 someone will be inside the doors waiting to provide access. Please take the elevators in the lobby to the third floor. The conference room is across from these elevators, and there are vending machines for drinks and snacks.

Hungry visitors from the south may want to exit onto 9th Avenue and head eastbound. There are plenty of places to grab a lunch on the first intersecting street, Koeller, if you head south. You’ll find Starbucks, Taco Bell, Olive Garden, Culver’s, McDonald’s, iHop and Qdoba. You can get to Sage Hall by continuing eastbound on 9th, turn left onto Ohio and follow the road (now called Wisconsin) over the bridge. Turn left at the first light, Pearl Avenue, unless you want Big Apple Bagels, then turn right. Drive for a minute and enter Lot 7 next to Sage. A campus map is here.

Most visitors from the north of Oshkosh exit onto route 21 eastbound, and turn right onto High Avenue to get to campus. Visitors will initially pass Sage on High and can access Lot 7 from High Avenue on the right. A short drive westbound on 21 from 41 will take people to McDonald’s and Culver’s, if they prefer to grab food beforehand. Shortly before High Avenue, beer fans will pass Fratello’s, which makes its award-winning beers at this restaurant. Some of you may need a local beer after the meeting.

I should be at the building by 10:30 in case people arrive early or have a problem. They can reach me at 920-203-0962 (cell) or 920-424-7298 (office).”
