No citations for Wentz-Graff

According to a report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, photographer Kristyna Wentz-Graff will not be given citations stemming from her Nov. 2 arrest while she was documenting a rally connected with the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Wentz-Graff is the second journalist arrested this year by the Milwaukee Police Department. Charges against Clint Fillinger of Fox 6, who was arrested in September, were dropped last week.

WNPA and the National Press Photographers Association led the protest against these arrests. MPD’s Chief, Edward Flynn, sat down with Milwaukee-area media representatives soon afterward to discuss press-police relations.
