Milwaukee police chief says photographer should have complied

Further concerning news is coming out of Milwaukee as Fox 6 News in Milwaukee continues to report on the arrest of one of their photographers Clint Fillinger. They have now aired an interview with Milwaukee police chief Ed Flynn where Flynn states: “If the cameraman had simply complied with the instructions to back off from a working fire, none of this hullabaloo would be taking place.”

Flynn also asserted that the public also being in Fillinger’s vicinity has no bearing on whether he was entitled to stand there and roll tape. The full, unedited interview is available here.

NPPA has sent Flynn a second letter of protest. Read the first letter here.
