Workshops

Multimedia Workshop
Led by Mike De Sisti of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and Michael P. King of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, this workshop will expose visual journalists of all skill levels to the latest tools of the trade, editing software, and techniques. They’ll make video editing with Final Cut approachable and – in an easy to understand way – talk about audio recorders, video cameras, microphones and webcasting.  A Q&A session lets you pick the presenters’ brains.

Apple Computer Workshop
Richard Pausch of Apple-specialist Techwise Computers in Waukesha talks and answers questions about keeping your Mac healthy and working for you. Battery health, storage/speed optimization, and other helpful tips will be among the topics.

Freebies and Door Prizes

Livebooks, a web site design company for photographers, is offering all registered attendees a promo code for 15% off a new site. The Milwaukee Art Museum is offering discount vouchers for admission to the museum and their street photography exhibit “Street Seen.”

Also, just for registering, you’ll have a chance to win items by Lightware, Lumiquest, Soundslides, Camera Bits (Photo Mechanic), Nik Software, Roberts Imaging, Tenba, Redux, LiveBooks and more.

Nikon and Canon have donated cameras for our contests, and will be on hand showing their latest and greatest equipment.
