Maniaci off to new adventure

Dear Friends,

After 20 wonderful years in the WNPA, I am walking away from my job at the Wisconsin State Journal and starting a new life as a full-time shooter for UW Health here in Madison. Starting Monday, July 13, I will be photographing doctors, nurses and patients at UW Hospitals and all the clinics around town, in the children’s hospital, patients in their homes and at their jobs and architecture of the many buildings just to name a few tasks. I can honestly say that my time in the WNPA, especially when I was volunteering, has been the most rewarding time of my career. Working on the clip contest, planning conventions with Dan Powers, Mark Hoffman, Rick Wood, Kris Wentz-Graff, Tom Loucks, Scott Anderson, Nathan Pier and all the rest. Getting to wine and dine with Eddie Adams and all the great talent that has passed through our great state, and seeing all the great work produced here has been incredible. As far as people out there who helped me, there are too many to name so I will just thank everyone who has ever volunteered for WNPA. You are all part of a great organization and I hope the volunteers can keep it strong for many years to come.
