Looking for a job? Wisconsin State Journal looking for a full-time photojournalist

The Wisconsin State Journal, south-central Wisconsin’s largest online and print news source, is seeking an experienced and energetic photojournalist.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional photographer who can tell a story using a variety of media. You will shoot and edit stills and video, gather sound, and file from the field – often all in the same day. Strong sports shooting skills are also a must, as you’ll have the opportunity to cover Big Ten football and other university and prep sports. The position will include working some nights and weekends, and driving to photo opportunities.

Our photographers are well-rounded journalists who are able to think on their feet, understand the stories they shoot and find the photos that help tell those stories. You’ll be expected to bring your own ideas for stories, long-term projects and online content.

We’re looking for a team player with a can-do attitude to be part of our talented staff. At least four years daily newspaper experience or equivalent in photojournalism experience is required.  Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
