Green Bay Press-Gazette's Andy Nelesen, 38
Written by Michael P. King
Friday, 29 January 2010

Green Bay Press-Gazette police, fire and courts reporter Andy Nelesen, 38, died Thursday, Jan. 28, the result of a blood vessel that burst late Monday night while he was working in the paper's newsroom. Nelesen was utilized as a photographer for the Press-Gazette at Super Bowl XXXI and other assignments, and was a friend to many Wisconsin photojournalists.

Nelesen interned at his hometown paper, The Sheboygan Press, during college, and worked for The Freeman in Waukesha before his 13-year stint in Green Bay.

Nelesen was an organ donor. Funeral/memorial arrangements are pending.
